Yesterday I was reviewing the sales results of our own brands on Amazon. It was more than 10k of the 19k profit we achieved in terms of sales in March. It was not a sales record (about 12k profit in December 2023) but it was the first time that most of the sales no longer depended on third-party brands.
This is quite an achievement considering that the first sale was made at the end of 2021 and exactly one year ago we were still at 0.8k profit. It should also be said that 60% of these sales are concentrated in two products.
This is how we got here.
Focus on the brand
It’s a bit generic, I admit, but it’s one of the basic things thailand whatsapp number data you have to do. If you look at your own brand and think about improvements that you can implement, ideas emerge. Ideas lead to tasks and then execution. By doing things and evaluating the results, you move forward. It’s so easy and so complicated. It’s been a long road that includes changing suppliers and manufacturers. Frustration along the way has been part of the journey.
Know your target audience well
We know the niche case: seo audit for plumbing site we play in, the world of collectibles, well. Having been in this field for more than six years has allowed us to understand the needs of collectors well. This has generated product ideas that have created demand and recurrence from day one. It seems unbelievable, but studying the niche well is the basis for creating products that are not based solely on historical sales data analysed with Helium10-type tools. In fact, all the experts would have avoided (and would continue to do so) the products that we have launched for the most part.
Luck
I’m not going to lie to you either. It’s also been a matter of luck ar numbers find a product that comes out of nowhere that has no reference or competition on Amazon and achieve 10-20 sales a day. But even luck is something you can trigger if you move a lot and quickly.
Test, optimize and continually seek improvement
This last point, more than just a point that has brought us to where we are, will be the key to continuing to grow by a factor of 2-3 in a matter of 12 months. We still lack processes and, above all, routines that allow us to improve naturally without having to plan it. This will be the biggest challenge. Creating the structure that makes it impossible to fail because you have already programmed everything you have to do to reach the next level and not stand still.
