So today I want to talk about ways to layout them on websites and how to improve the readability of long posts on social networks.

This is important both at the paragraph level and at the level of individual characters. The main thing is to decide for yourself what kind of information you use each font for and do not confuse them. Often, bold is used to highlight the main thing, and italics are used to highlight secondary information (or quotes, for example). You can also use indentation to highlight information: place an entire paragraph with an indent from the left edge. This is often done for lists, quotes, and lyrical digressions.
