Don’t rate text at 1000

You all know that today the work of copywriters, editors and authors of texts is usually estimated in 1000 (thousands) of characters (with or without spaces, each customer, of course, has a different one). A short text is more likely to be read. It looks more attractive and it is easier to find time for it.

Short text ≠ superficial. And long ≠ detailed. Of course, the more complex the topic, the more you need to write to explain it. But one author can explain the topic in 1000 words, and another in 3000. Who is cooler? Of course the first one.

Short text is harder to write. You can easily check it for yourself. Open a Google Doc and try to explain what a blockchain is. Now delete your explanation and try again, but with a limit of 14 words maximum. Complicated, huh?

Often, to write a short text, you have to write a long one, and then spend several hours mercilessly editing it.

Therefore, a short text should not cost less than a long one.

And how to evaluate?
Estimate the amount of work, time, complexity customer retention: methods, tools and basic strategies  of the topic, the article as a whole. This article can be done in a couple of days – it costs 5000₽. And this one needs a week – it’s worth fifteen.

Yes, it hurts to give the author 10,000 rubles for a page of text after you paid the same amount for an entire article. I know. But imagine that you went to a cafe and ordered tea. And instead of a mug of tea, they bring you a three-liter jar with a couple of tea leaves floating at the bottom. Is that okay?

No, it’s not normal! Give me normal tea, no need for so much water!

Same thing with text. Tea leaves are the alb directory  meaning. You pay for it. It doesn’t matter how many characters there are. The main thing is that the text solves the problem.
